About Us-Hawkesbury Sister City Association
The Hawkesbury Sister City Association (HSCA) was established in 1984. The purpose of HSCA is to promote friendship and contact between the people of Hawkesbury City in north-western Sydney, and those of our City's international sister cities (Temple City, USA and Kyotamba, Japan) and City/Council alliance regions (Cabonne and Weddin in western NSW).
HSCA became incoporated in 2007 when a new constitution was adopted.
Individuals or groups with an interest in Hawkesbury's sister cities and alliances are welcome to join the Association, and meetings are normally held on the second Monday of the month.
You do not need to be a member of the Association to join in a program - individuals, groups, clubs and societies are welcome to participate in HSCA activities.
HSCA runs an annual student exchange program with both Temple Cityin California, USA and Kyotamba in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan that consists of a delegation of a maximum of six students, visiting their respective sister cities.
The Association also organises visits to our sister cities, and hosts incoming delegations.
